Why is the world in such a mess?

Why is the whole economy of the planet in such a state? Why is even the climate responding to us in anger? I think it’s because of greed. That’s a simple answer but think of it! Some nations want to have all the others play the game their way so they can have all the wealth. The big bank entities want all the people to be in debt so they can announce new records of yearly profit. The world oil industry wants the control of fossil fuels for their yearly multi-billions of profits. Industries cut costs to make more profit. We want instant gratification and we use credit cards to purchase more and more stuff.

We laugh at the “outdated” Ten Commandments. The sixth, eighth, and ninth one explains why most nations in the world are suffering. The tenth one states “Thou shall not covet….” Well, maybe there is a reason that too was included in the instruction manual. Perhaps there is great sociological, and physiological benefit for national cultures, and for each individual not to covet.

We, our human race, have made the world a mess.
