What do you do if you have Faith but you’re stuck in the Now? If you’re doing all you can and you’re sure of what you hope for, but it seems to be taking forever? That’s when a bold plunge into action is needed….
In our wonderful world of medicinal and natural remedies, let’s not forget that they are simply physical agents given to us by an Intelligent Designer. The healing properties of medications originate from indigenous plants in our world, and we are still discovering new and better ways to use them. Yet our faith shouldn’t rest on humanity’s wisdom but in the power of a loving metaphysical God.
Healing properties from plants – doesn’t that prove the intent of a God Source who’s eager to provide for us? To heal us, saving us from pain and illness? Yet if we only have faith in power-foods and medications, where is our belief system in the supernatural, moving power of God?
According to the ancient Big Black Book, there are two things needed to activate faith.
Step 1. Heartfelt belief that you are deeply loved by a personal all-powerful Creative Intelligence
Step 2. Confident words declaring your belief that God has healed you.
“The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim…. (Romans 10:8)
Developing a strong belief system with these two components is fully explained in the author’s book: The Celestial Proposal: Our Invitation to Join the God Kind. Here’s an excerpt from Chapter 12, entitled A Quantum Leap Belief System, on page 242 and 245.
Now we even know where to find its location! Faith is found deep in our hearts and in our mouths. Faith is not something outside of us but a law we activate from the inside. This principle stands consistently in place, just like the law of gravity. We don’t have to go out and find gravity; it is activated whenever we throw something up in the air—in fact it operates constantly, whether we are thinking about it or not. Faith works the same way. It is already in place, and we activate it with the heartfelt words we speak. It is our belief system expressed by our actions.
These two simple instructions are the basic components of faith. They are also the requirements to obtain the vital promise of salvation:
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (Romans 10:10)
These ingredients are the building blocks of faith. When we believe with our hearts and confess with our mouths, heartfelt words give creative, manifesting power.
However, it’s all well to say that we believe in something wonderful, but if we never take the first step to accomplish it, how valid are our words?
There is yet another condition that usually has to be met. Activating faith is not quite as easy as the black-and-white promises on the page because whenever we speak, our words are automatically tested for authenticity against our belief system. Sometimes our words have to be accompanied by some kind of action in order to prove (maybe even to ourselves), that we truly believe in what we say.
There is a third step to manifest what we desire. We show our faith by what we do!
Step 3. Make a decision to live as though it has already happened.
In other words, prove your faith! This is the quantum leap principle of manifesting your own reality. This is going out on a limb and plunging off airborne – into a new reality.
The crippled man at the pool said he couldn’t walk. Jesus said, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.” The disciples said they couldn’t feed the huge crowd but Jesus just started sharing a few loaves of bread and fish. The blind man said he couldn’t see from birth and Jesus dabbed mud on his eyes, and told him to go wash and he would see. Jesus walked on water and called one of his followers out to him. Peter put a leg over the side of the boat and stepped out on top of the water.
It is by your actions that you prove your faith. Yes, do all you can with all the knowledge you have but then act on the power of God. Decide what you must do to prove it to yourself and live it in the Now.

Straight from the big black book:
"Jesus got up and went with him, and so did his disciples. Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.”' Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment.
