nativityby Jane Catherine Rozek

What makes Jesus Christ different from other prophets?

His followers called him the Son of God. Jesus called himself the Son of Man. He was christened with some kind of metaphysical power so the people called him The Christ. And the moral concepts he taught are honoured in most of the world. God has no religion –

He’s big enough for all of us.

So at Christmas I’m singing this song and my eyes are misty!

Did you know that even verses in the Koran also talk about the birth of Jesus by a virgin Mary (Qur’an, Surah 3:38-48). Muslims also hold him in high respect and believe him to be a great prophet. But why? Because Jesus Christ said some outrageous things!

Can all this really be true? Well, Jesus Christ wasn’t a liar. The events were witnessed and written down and that’s why we celebrate the birth of Jesus!

shepherds-in-the-presence-of-godA supernatural star in the heavens appeared announcing stupendous good news!

THIS IS the GOOD NEWS! THAT JESUS came down to humanity as an ambassador from a government from somewhere in the outer heavens to give us his spirit!

A Holy Spirit!

A Christ-Consciousness!

Here’s my Christmas thoughts from my book, from my heart to yours:

"This luminous mass first appeared to be moving, then stopped at a specific time and place. What star does that?: A host of celestial entities gave them a fantastic message—that the savior of the whole human race had been born. "Praise God that they deem us scrawny human beings worthy enough to be saved!"
