The early morning light broke through the drapes of the window. Her eyelids fluttered and the problems of the day hit her once again. Reality sucked, and her litany of self-degrading comments rushed into her mind.
“I’m so stupid, I’ll probably blow it again at work today, I’m never going to figure things out. Something is always going wrong in my life.”
The voice of Spirit, from the depths of her subconscious, spoke up loudly. “You are my joy, my child.”
This pleased her so much that she breathed in Spirit and got fighting mad at the dark little demon-imps clawing on her back.
Wide awake now, she heard the birds chirping in the back yard peach tree. Instead of her usual complaining of the early dawn noise, she told herself,
“I’m glad to hear their cheerfulness. I’m pleased with the sound. I‘m so lucky to have a peach tree for them to sit in!”
She realized her self-talk had been chock full of negatives. She had let herself become a victim in her own self-image. She was not inadequate at all. Her words were creating her own negativity and that she could fix.
Today, she was only going to add the positives to her “I am’s”! She was going to fight the devil on his own terms, using her words as weapons!
“I am strong!” She shouted that morning, and then jumped out of bed, and got dressed.
So, my dear sisters let’s…
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6:12 NIV
Check out the book by clicking here! "Whether consciously or subconsciously, we conduct power from whatever spirit source we believe in at that particular moment. The real question in our lives is always this: with which source of power do we agree? Look at our knowledge about positive and negative energy fields on the surface of our earth, right down to the scale of electrons and protons in each atom. There are opposing forces in all of nature. Spiritual forces also magnetize us in one direction or the other. According to the positive or negative energy issued from our own mouths, we reap the corresponding dividends of our words. Just as the God Source created our world with his words, we each create our individual world, and together we create the personalities of our nations, all through vocalized thought!"
