When I went out to live in a small rural community, I found people who spoke the truth. Everyone knew each other’s character. Those with integrity, you counted on for help when you needed it. Those who were liars were ostracized because they couldn’t be trusted.
(Read more about my experiences in Book Two in the Spirit Quest series!)
What a difference between that country life style and city living where you don’t even know the name of your neighbor. How easy it is for people to fabricate lies and build false facades for their ego and greed.
Take politics. How can you believe what social media says anymore? If you listen to Fox news or the news on CNN and others, each media outlet twists the events of the day differently for their own political agendas. And let’s not forget that behind those agendas are much larger corporate interests.
It’s hard to sort out, isn’t it? I listen to news casts from other countries to find a global outlook.
This sounds simplistic, but out of all the global problems we have right now, I believe LYING IS THE BIGGEST PROBLEM. Why? Because lies destroy the very fabric of our existence.
Look at it this way. Cutting edge science proves that our heartfelt words influence our own experiences in the world. They paint the structure and canvas of our reality.
What do we project onto the three-dimensional grid we live in when we spew out a falsehood? A lie has no power to create anything. It just skews the matrix!
Our conscience knows our lie is false. Even a lie detector can register the difference. A lie causes unstable flickering in the dimensions to our reality; like a weak hole, a black hole, a spot of growing cancer.
We have to expose liars, even if they are important, or political, or prominent. Let’s call them out for what they are: THE CANCER in our societies.
There are so many lies being woven into the fabric of our society today, there’s no strength to it anymore. That’s when it crumbles.
Can you imagine our world if everyone spoke THE TRUTH? How simple it would be to concentrate on saving the planet, ending wars, feeding the hungry, creating equality?
We must all speak truth to create a powerful reality.
There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him:haughty eyes,a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil,a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community. Proverbs 6:16-19 NIV Bible A quote from the author's book: This fundamental trait in God's character and makeup is so basic that it is not even possible for God to speak something untrue, because whatever he speaks comes to pass. In a logical conclusion then, God can't lie! Hebrews 6:18 The Celestial Proposal, Chapter 11, Words of Power, page 221.
