Thank you so much for enlightening my belief to our Devine Creator, our Almighty God. as the saying goes that the world must come to an end, and that Jesus is coming so we have to prepared for our Lord is coming, is this true that God will destroy the universe and only those who believe in him will be save, and if this is true how God will come and is there a sign that he is coming? how can we humans must prepare for the coming of Jesus….thank you so much and I hope to get a reply from you.

“I think it’s a good idea to use your talent for writing for all people and not just Christians. I feel we limit ourselves when we only speak to Christians. I do believe the Holy Spirit will lead us into all truth. The most that can be expected of Christians is to be sensitive to His leading. When I’m at a family party I don’t insist that the Bible be followed in the way we behave. If I did I wouldn’t be invited to many parties.

I totally agree! The connections we make with people are amazing when we “are led by the Holy Spirit”. It’s exciting to share spiritual insights and not have to talk in Christianese! Thanks so much for your thoughts on this and commenting here.

According to the Bible, Adam and Eve were the first humans created by God, who lived approximately 6,000 years ago. According to the science, humans existed a long time before. The two lines of thought can be easily united, thanks to the omnipotence of God, who in the beginning created humans in a reality where there was no concept of “evil”…In practice, they were the first men of God; whereas prehistoric man lived before Adam and Eve was a man, but it could be considered as an animal…that may have hybridazed with the descendants of Adam And Eve after they were “moved away” from the “perfect reality”.

Yes, I agree Marco! Homosapiens have evolved and because of a little intervention by an other-worldly God, we may still have a chance to spiritually evolve! Maybe even to the point of obtaining cosmic citizenship! 🙂

You need a lot of faith and imagination in trying to reconcile all of that, Marco. Why shouldn’t I believe God? If human logic and even “science” could go beyond the Word then we don’t even need faith in God and His Word. Why then should we read the Bible instead of Isak Asimov or Stephen Hawking? If we could explain all that doesn’t answer to “science”, then our God would be too small, smaller than our understanding…
1 Corinthians 2:4-5(NIV): “My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.”
BTW, I like science, true science, and there are tons of resources to prove or disprove any human point but I bet everything on the Word of God.

Jane: I will read this. Always love books on the Gospels, the Lord and His followers! At GTHT, we teach over 1,900+ college-aged students in 43 countries. We started this in 2006 and even though I am retired~ I still teach from time to time. We have 58 instructors, of which~ 16 used to be Catholic priests. Of the over 1,900+ students, 102 of them are Arab-Christians! Cheers on your success Jane!

I think we are on the cutting edge of all people listening to the voice of God in their hearts and realizing that he is speaking the same thing to everybody open enough to listen! What is He saying? “Love God with all your might and treat others as you want to be treated”. In this twenty-first century, truly these standards will be written in all hearts from whatever belief system (religion) is prevalent in our cultures. I salute you and your work!
