COMMAND YOUR REALITY AND ACTIVATE YOUR FAITH

Creating with Faith Series: Part 8

“Do you want to change your life? Well, do it then! No one else can do it for you.”  His eyes locked with mine and through intense compassion the words swirled in on me.

“But how?” I asked.

“Activate your faith as a source of power. Faith is not your religion, it’s the spiritual authority I’ve given you to change your world!”

That conversation happened many years ago and I have practiced using the words of God as swords, cutting through the fabric of my reality – sometimes with great success. It is so exciting! I’ve created small miracles, and huge life-style changes. I’ve been tested and had to use my belief system to survive: in isolated wilderness, poverty, widowhood, abuse, divorce, sickness. And yes, abundantly blessings have materialized: wealth, travel, happiness, true love. No, I’m not a Jedi yet, but I want to be one!

I know God loves me and respects my efforts to teach the techniques of using faith as a power source. He’s help to defined it and I want to share it with you. This faith series gives you the components to put in place so you can make it work. It lists the obstacles that hold you back. Now you have to use it yourself to cut out the crap in your own life! And you certainly can’t do that if you think of yourself as a victim.

“But how,” you ask? 

I was so delighted when I found this plaque in a little gift shop and now it sits on a shelf in my writing-room. This is the key for co-creating! You slice through your physical reality and speak to the problem. Our words are the weapon. They’re the light sabre we use against the enemy that confronts us. So I’ve stopped whining to God in my prayers! If you have him as a higher power, put his words in your heart and speak them out; ask for what you want and it will be done for you.[1]

“OK problem,” you say, “Back off because God’s got me covered.” 

The early Christians would say it this way: “In the name of Jesus Christ, I command you evil spirit to come out.” They spoke to the problem even then! Because God sent Jesus Christ down to empower us, to show us how it’s done!

You can find the formula for manifesting things by faith in the strangest places. I was surfing the net the other day and found this one:

“If there is one key that would make all the difference between victory and defeat in a person’s life, it would be taking spiritual authority. You can build up faith, trust in God and be at rest, but as long as you do not do the one thing, you may not turn your trial around. That one thing is to take spiritual authority by actively enforcing faith through the act of commanding reality. The act of commanding is to exercise divine power. It is the trigger to the loaded gun and the point of execution where all power is released.

Even though our minds are a battlefield and life itself is a battle, it’s also a great adventure that’s filled with choices. There used to be a bumper sticker that
read, “God is my co-pilot.” Later, someone created another one that read, “If God is your co-pilot, switch seats.” 

No, it was right the first time. God has put YOU in the driver’s seat. He said, “I set before you life and death, blessing and cursing, therefore, choose life”.[2] 

God will not drive for you. It’s your life and your individuality. You…must drive deliberately.” [3]

They made a movie called “WILD” out of Cheryl Strayed‘s memoirs and skill in commanding reality. So enforce your faith! Activate it. Command your reality to line up with God’s words of empowerment for you. And believe…
