THE TIMES THEY ARE A CHANGING

The world has changed over the summer, and so have I…

The extreme heat and fires in western Canada have transformed a lot of people’s perspectives. So has climate change and the world’s political scene. I was feeling a bit sad about this crazy world we live in, and I remembered the old folksong I used to listen to: “The Times They Are A-Changin” by Bob Dylan.

It’s a 1970s taste of my book Innocence Derailed, the first stand-alone novel in the Spirit Quest Series. I still want to be more of an activist to change things. Perhaps we all need a radical change.

A month ago, I revisited the rural community of Anahim Lake this summer, the setting in my second book, Purity Found. It was like taking a trip on a time machine! The countryside has completely changed. Old friends are gone, more people have moved in, and logging roads are built all over now. But I got a chance to help a First Nations friend net salmon. That was interesting, although a log floated into the net and dumped all the fish out. 

All these decades later, who am I now? My three books are on Amazon, and I’m currently editing the 4th book to share more of Kate’s exciting adventures with you! And whaaaat?!?! How many blog posts have I written? It’s craaaazy! I just counted, and this will be my 213th post over the last ten years!

Definitely time for a rethink. Time for a new theme, and I hope you like this new one. I was way overdue in organizing my posts into simple categories. Now you guys can find info on helpful spiritual topics that might help to change you!.
