To heal ourselves and to heal others, now that would be fun and a miraculous feat all right! The key is understanding the power of God. What is that? You already know! New Ager’s know this, but they don’t know…what they know. They simply believe there’s a power to manifest good things into their lives. And there is!
That’s what Jesus did. Christianity believes Jesus Christ was filled with the power of God. He went around working miracles, manifesting healing, raising people from the dead even. So the power he had was his ability to metaphysically alter reality!
What I think you are asking is: “How do I get some of that power?” And that takes a whole book to explain it – which is why I wrote my book! But I’ll try to give you a few gold nuggets (so you might eventually want to read the book!) Not that I’m proficient in operating in the power of manifesting things. No, I’m still a novice. But I know how it operates, and some of the conditions for setting it into motion, and what roadblocks obstruct the outcomes.
It’s all wrapped up in getting a foundational base of understanding so that you have confidence in your belief system. Then you are anointed in the same kind of power also!

Did you know Christ was not Jesus’s last name? The word Christ comes from Christos – the one anointed with the power of God. His followers and crowds of curious people saw that he had a metaphysical, supernatural, anointing of power from on high. He was immersed in it. (See post: WHAT THE WORD CHRIST REALLY MEANS) Power surrounded him and emanated outward unto others. One woman only touched the hem of his robe and she was healed! [1]

We were created in the image and likeness of God, says Genesis, the first book in the Bible.[2] Thus, we’re related and designed to be god-like. We’re like God in that we have the ability to create and have dominion over all other life forms on our planet. But we aren’t quite finished yet.

Our spiritual evolution continues in the miracles of Jesus Christ and the arrival of something called Spirit. God, Jesus Christ, Sacred Spirit, angels, – they all come trying to teach us spiritual things. They want us to join them and become god-like – children of God. They desire this so much that if/when we fully align ourselves to them, they promise to give us immortality. That’s actually the very purpose for life. What a grand adventure we are on!

The anointing then, is the power cord that connects us to the God source. It’s like our connection to the internet. The key is that it’s either on or off. If we aren’t connected to the source of power we can’t power-up anything. I like another metaphor since I’m living within the beautiful vineyards of BC, Kelowna. Jesus used the analogy of the grape vine.
No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing…If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory….”[3]
A powerful connection happens when we ask for the anointing of God’s presence to flow through the corridors of our minds and enter our hearts. It’s called “being lead by the Spirit”. We can then do the same kind of miraculous things as Jesus Christ did because the same power does it! That power is the anointing of Spirit and was given to empower us.
The more confidence we develop in our connection, then the more power we can download to change our world. Whether you call it Spirit or the Infinite Intelligence, it’s there for us to tap into. From the instructions he gave us, I am convinced Jesus wants us to be healed and able to heal others. Don’t doubt his desire to make you whole. Don’t doubt God’s will. Ask and believe and then don’t let go. Feel that current filling every cell in your body! Touch others and feel it go out of you and into others.
Before he returned to the outer heavens, his parting message to us says:
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.[4]
The key is the connection to this living sacred Spirit, downloaded, flowing through your veins, full current. You – filled, anointed, and immersed in LOVE.
