I’m right in the middle of an eco-resort on a fun-filled Caribbean holiday, and I was still missing something. I needed to connect with God. My girlfriend and I discovered a perfect place to do just that!
At the end of the path, I sat down and drank it in with deep breathes. Pure clean water rushed through the jungle bottom and trickled into the pond in a continuous melody of sound. God had created a symphony for me with water!
Roots from the trees reached down into the rich base of this source of life…and I too reached for it and with passing time grew satisfied and serene. I’ve decided the best place to find God is in sacred locations in nature because they can be found everywhere you go. In these kinds of places, you can feel God and if you listen carefully you might hear him speak to you toO, in his gentle kind voice.
On another day there was no water running. The reflection on the surface merged the real world with the surreal and I was once again entranced.
These Cenotes are springs from a vast underground water reservoir in the jungles of the Yucatan. The ancient Mayan civilization flourished because access to this water was a sacred source of life. Down another trail, we stumbled upon yet another small cenote that looked like it was the lens in the eye of God. And yes of course, we climbed right in and swam in the coolness!
“Dear God, make me clean and pure so that I can flow outward and feed others just like your living water…!”
And these are words from a great book of prophecy:...he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Revelation 7:17

If a man is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him. (John 7:37–38) The Celestial Proposal, Chapter 10, Words of Power, pg 143. Review the book On Amazon.com
