HOW TO SHINE OUT LOVE IN TROUBLED TIMES

A full moon waited for me in the early morning sky. I know this because I put on my swimsuit, poured a cup of coffee, and went out into the cold winter to sit in the hot tub at 6:00 a.m.! That moonlight was so strong…

But there was a shadow of myself on the wall. Then it hit me. The light didn’t really emanate from that small globe in the dark sky. It was reflected and mirrored down to me from the sun!

I too, could soak it up and mirror it out to my husband, my children, and the world around me.

That’s what we are called to do in the dark seasons. Soak up God and mirror that love out to others.

But then, in pensive thought, I wondered: if we don’t reflect God’s light outward, is it absorbed by the dark shadow behind us?

Note to self: Soak up God in the morning and mirror Him outward to others all day. @JaneCatherineRozek.com/heart-thoughts/

The brighter the light we allow ourselves to absorb, the brighter the light we can emanate, the less darkness in our world.
