A match is struck and brought to the wick and then darkness has no power. Light will always overcome the blackness in our world….

Since the beginning of time,  by its very nature this has been so. Light has also been a symbol of the presence and the power of God’s kingdom here in our physical realm. Why do we make the comparison between Light and God’s presence?

"To personally experience this aspect of a celestial kingdom, I suggest that you sit in a pitch-black auditorium or other very large room, and then light a single candle and see what happens. You will find that no matter how vast the darkness may be, light always overcomes it. There is no darkness that can’t be overcome! That is because “God is light; in him there is no darkness at all” (1 John 1:5). This is a powerful awareness.

When we reprogram our minds according to God’s truths, we begin to see things by the light we let in. The brighter the light we allow into our lives, the less the darkness can overtake us. The more we increase light’s voltage, the clearer things become. With light, we can clearly see where we need to go next.”

Many of us have lit up our homes with Christmas candles for this holiday season and we marvel how lovely they are in our dark winter bleakness. Jesus Christ was born to become the Light of this world in order to set up a new kind of belief system with simple universal values that are acceptable to all of humanity. He was (and is) an other-worldly ambassador announcing the Kingdom of God now proposed to be downloaded to earth. What’s a kingdom? A kingdom is simply a realm of existence under one government.

The Kingdom of God has the properties of light because in the realm of the Great Ones, nothing can be hidden. One solid beam is all we need to show us where we are. With that, we can grasp the dangers we actually face. If we throw enough light out, we can handle any storm of life because we can then see the big picture. The governing principles of a celestial kingdom are available to us from any Bible version we pick up. And these principles have powerful implications. There is NO deceit in this form of government – it has full disclosure. This is the Light that’s clear, pure, and marvelously beautiful if we interface with these god-given principles. We surrounded ourselves with more and more brightness in our own lives.

And best of all if we light up from this source, it is so easy to share it with others! So light a candle, draw close to the flame, and chase away your own darkness in this coming new year by getting closer to God. Light up your world and those around you because this is where real power comes from! One little light might not seem so bright, but together we can turn on the power source to the governing principles of God and manifest His Kingdom on earth!
