There are only two ways to travel down your timeline: You choose the way of get or the way of give.

I think the choice is simple really….

Getting focuses on what you think you need to be happy. Whether it’s more money, more power, more toys, more love; trying to get what you want in life is all consuming. But the problem of that is you’re never satisfied because once you get it, you want more. Getting makes you centered on yourself. “But I want this. I want that,” you say.  You’re frustrated and powerless when you just can’t get what you want.

 

20-give1Giving focuses on making others happy. Whether you give your time, your effort, your money, your things; giving can give you much more than “happy”. Giving will make you feel rich because you decide you have enough to give outwardly. You sacrifice from your own perceived abundance. Giving makes you spontaneously creative because you get to choose who to give to and what to give. You are rich with creative power; You are god-like.

How do YOU want to live? It’s your choice. It’s your timeline. But I want to feel like God!

What is sin? It is the opposite of love. It is the way of get as opposed to the way of give. It is not acceptable to the God species because it has no concern for the welfare of others.
