Hopeful girl
‘Hanging out at Home,’ Flicker.com

It’s New Year’s Eve. What a horrible year most of us have had with the continued fear of Covid and all its implications. But this is the start of a new 365 days and I want to give you a gift. The gift is hope and it comes from my heart. Here, take some of what I hold and put it into yours! Hope is something children know more about than we do. It’s believing that positive events will take place in our future, that behind the scenes good things are already taking place. Hope is trusting a Higher Power.

We all have a choice, we can see the glass half empty or see it half full. We can see the darkness but still anticipate the dawn. Yes the world is in chaos, but I see an awakening to what really matters. I see awareness to the simply joys of living. So in child-likeness, I’m choosing to have hope. Because if I have hope for the New Year – I have a little bit of God in my heart!

Let’s act like children – children of God and trust him to have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
